plug it into a USB on your computer with the cord given. Then opens Itunes get the most updated version if you havnt, and then your ipod should come up automatically. It may ask you to choose some preferences or download something but other than that its very simple.

Well, you've already got the songs on iTunes, that's a good start. When you plug your iPod into the computer and pull up iTunes, a tiny picture of your Nano should show up on the toolbar. Try clicking and dragging the song over to the picture. For some reason mine doesn't work like this, so yours might not either. If it doesn't, do what I do and make a playlist. If you click 'File' it should have a 'New Playlist' option. Make one, then drag your music into there. Then drag the playlist onto your iPod picture. A note: When you add new music to your playlist, it will automatically load onto your iPod, you don't have to add the playlist to your iPod again.
